We left Auckland this morning and flew to Queensland - what a spectacular site flying in. Lake Wakatipu is nestled beneath a fabulous mountain range. We traveled to an old gold mine from the late 1800's where we did some shopping walking around and then on to the site where Bunge Jumping originated. Neither of us were brave enough to jump, but watched as 2 daring girls went.....we all cheered!! This south island is even more beautiful than the north island. Early morning and long day tomorrow so I best get to bed......
